Our client is a well-established and highly respected property development and civil construction business delivering residential land development projects across the region. They are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join their team. Working across a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects, this role offers the opportunity to combine technical engineering expertise with hands-on project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a Project Engineer looking to take ownership of projects, expand their technical expertise and play a key role in delivering civil infrastructure and land development projects across the region.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you'll work closely with senior engineers and project teams to assist in the successful delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to completion. You'll play a key role in coordinating project activities, supporting design and construction teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of civil engineering projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Support project planning, coordination and administration tasks.
- Assist with site establishment and project mobilisation.
- Work with construction teams on machine control systems.
- Prepare and modify engineering designs and drawings using CAD software.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project compliance with relevant standards, specifications and industry requirements.
- Have a focus on safe work practices
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Relevant Engineering qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Sound computer literacy and confidence using engineering software.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
