Cape Byron Property is seeking an experienced, motivated and organised Property Manager to join our supportive team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a residential property portfolio, building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our properties. You'll work closely with our experienced team to deliver the high standard of personalised service Cape Byron Property is known for.

Key responsibilities

- Manage a residential property portfolio, ensuring exceptional service to landlords and tenants.

- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with property owners, tenants and tradespeople.

- Conduct routine inspections, ingoing and outgoing condition reports.

- Coordinate repairs and maintenance promptly and efficiently.

- Monitor rental arrears, manage lease renewals and conduct rent reviews.

- Oversee tenancy applications, reference checks and leasing processes.

- Proactively communicate with landlords, providing regular updates and recommendations.

- Manage tenancy matters and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

- Ensure compliance with NSW residential tenancy legislation and agency procedures.





- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Property Management department.

About you

- Previous experience in residential property management is essential.

- Current NSW Certificate of Registration (Assistant Agent) or Real Estate License.

- Current Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle.

- Sound understanding of NSW residential tenancy legislation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and effective time management.

- A bright, proactive, motivated and solutions-focused approach.

- Professional, personable and confident when communicating with landlords and tenants.

- Strong computer literacy and experience using property management software.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.
