NT Recycling Solutions (NTRS) is looking for reliable, hardworking and safety-focused people to join our growing operations in Darwin.

We are currently recruiting for two hands-on operational roles:

- Recycling Sorters – Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), Berrimah

- Labourers – Resource Recovery Park (RRP), Tivendale

Recycling Sorters

Based at our Materials Recovery Facility, Recycling Sorters play an important role in separating recyclable materials and removing contamination from the recycling stream.

Key duties include

- Sorting recyclable materials from processing and conveyor lines

- Identifying and removing contamination and non-recyclable materials

- Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas

- Completing general cleaning and housekeeping duties

- Following all site safety procedures and instructions

- Assisting with other operational duties as required

This role involves repetitive and physically demanding work within an active industrial environment.

Labourers

Based at our Resource Recovery Park, Labourers support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site across a variety of general duties.

Key duties include

- General labouring and site support duties

- Handling, separating and moving waste and recyclable materials

- Maintaining clean and safe work areas





- Assisting plant operators and other operational employees

- Following site safety and traffic management requirements

- Assisting with other duties around the site as required

This role involves physical and outdoor work in an operational waste and resource recovery workplace.

What We're Looking For For both positions, we're looking for people who:

- Are reliable, punctual and ready to work

- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Take workplace health and safety seriously

- Are comfortable undertaking physical and manual work

- Can follow instructions and established procedures

- Are comfortable working within a waste and recycling environment

Previous experience in waste and recycling, manufacturing, warehousing, construction, civil works, landscaping or general labouring will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Pre-Employment Requirements
