Join Golding at Curragh Mine near Blackwater and play a key role in driving a strong safety culture across site operations. We’re looking for an experienced Safety Advisor who can confidently influence stakeholders, lead risk-based safety initiatives, and support operational teams to achieve safe and successful outcomes.
This is an 8/6 DIDO role from Central Queensland, with camp accommodation provided if required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and facilitating risk assessments
- Supporting incident investigations and reporting
- Conducting audits, inspections, and safety observations
- Assisting leaders with SHET compliance and improvement initiatives
- Maintaining SHET systems, registers, and reporting requirements
- Delivering inductions and contributing to site communication forums
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant Diploma qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ mining experience
- Strong experience in risk assessments, auditing, and incident investigations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support teams
