Securecorp is seeking professional, reliable and customer-focused Retail Security Officers to join our growing teams across Cranbourne, Frankston and Bayside.

We have opportunities available for Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Security Officers who take pride in maintaining a safe and secure retail environment while delivering outstanding customer service. If you're proactive, approachable and committed to providing a high standard of security, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play an important role in protecting our clients, their staff, customers and property. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular foot patrols and monitoring retail premises to deter theft, identify risks and maintain a safe environment.
- Providing professional, friendly and customer-focused service to customers, retailers and centre management.
- Identify and respond to potential incidents.
- Managing access and responding appropriately to security concerns, incidents and emergencies.
- Identifying hazards, assessing risks and taking appropriate action to maintain safety.




- Preparing accurate incident reports and maintaining detailed security records.
- Liaising professionally with management, retail staff, emergency services and other stakeholders as required.
- Supporting the implementation of site procedures, company policies and workplace health and safety requirements.

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- A current Victorian Security Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Competent to perform all duties outlined under the Security Service Industry
- Has maintained a valid private security licence for at least the previous 6 months
- Holds a minimum Certificate II in Security Operations
- Has worked in retail security for at least 3 months in the previous 2 years
- Has worked at Level 1 or above for a minimum of 6 months

- Previous experience in the security industry, with retail security experience required
- Excellent, Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A professional presentation and a calm, confident approach when dealing with challenging situations.
- The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
- Strong observation, problem-solving and incident-reporting skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, nights and weekends, where required.

- 2 Part-Time positions
- Multiple Casual positions





Opportunities are available across Bayside and Southeastern suburbs. Roster requirements will vary depending on the site and employment arrangement.
