Key Responsibilities
- Completing allocated rooms within the allocated time
- Replenishing and controlling guest supplies and amenities, including bathroom amenities, mini bar, towels and linen
- Preparing each room to the required standard
- Rotating and replacing room items in accordance with set requirements, such as mattress protectors, bedspreads and pillows
- Reporting missing items from guest rooms, such as kettles, cups, glasses,
irons and hangers
- Presenting guest rooms to hotel standards
- Providing buddy training when directed by the manager or supervisor
- Following company policies and procedure manuals
- Reporting maintenance required in rooms
The Ideal Candidate To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfort with physical tasks
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality
- A professional and reliable attitude
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required
- Good time management and organisational skills
Qualifications No formal qualification or previous work experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided.
