Sales Rep experience is a necessity but product experience is not as they are basic and straight forward.

EXTREEMLY INPORTANT NOTE: You will be sleeping away from home up to 2 nights a month, so to avoid sharing a kennel with snoopy on the days that you do sleep at home, you had better ask permission from your better half before your application.

The Position Description -

- Must love driving! Seriously I mean you absolutely must love driving.

- Must love freedom of the open road with no boss looking over your shoulder.

- Must be looking for a good excuse to spend 2 days away from your spouse. : )

- You need to be fit and healthy, we are not discriminating, it’s just been proven unbearable for someone to have back problems whilst having to drive and then have to get in and out of the company vehicle 8-14 times a day.

- Oh…. did I mention that you must love driving : )

This is a very easy sales position. You will inherit a well-established portfolio of well-established business clients.

- Your responsibility will be to leave your house or hotel in the morning, Monday to Friday only and drive from client to client and supply them with the products that have been purchasing from us since the 1970s.

All our products are needed/required and a must have for our clients to run their businesses.

Note: Due to Australian road safety regulations our Company has a zero tolerance for any substance that may affect your ability to control a vehicle.





- You will be on the road full time behind a wheel so:

- You will need to pass a full company medical and fitness test.

You will need to pass a Drug test.

You can't have any alcohol in your body, so if you like a drink of Sarsaparilla, do it on Friday night after work so its out of the system by Monday morning.

You will need to complete and pass a Police Check.

The Office – Located Your house, the rest of the time go straight into the field from home and then back home again

- So we need you to be a mature minded salesperson
- I would take the job myself, but unfortunately as you can probably ascertain from this job advert, I am not overly mature.

Your Territory - Your designated territory includes. Home base will be the house you live in as long as you live anywhere within the boundaries of the western suburbs or Melton, Hoppers, Footscray, Melton and as far as Geelong. The territory also includes regional all the way to Colac, Warrnambool, Portland and Hamilton but it would be impractical to live regionally.

The Successful Candidate – This position is best suited to a candidate who loves driving all day from business to business, town to town and calling on your existing loyal customers for the purpose of supplying those businesses with product. And never ever, ever, ever go into an office again.

Will have some sales or customer service experience in car parts; car accessories or any type of vehicle related bits and pieces, speaks solid English and loves the open road.

You will need a driver’s license with a valuable driving record .



You will need to be mature and good at talking to people. You will meet many of your clients whilst they are in their workshops, so you need to feel comfortable in that environment.

Salary Package - Base Salary, Super, Vehicle, Your Incentives

- Commission
- Bonuses
- Allowances and Perks - $75,000+12%Super PLUS a guaranteed monthly bonus structure currently sitting at $15,000, so really it’s an $90,000 salary as there is virtually nothing you can do to not get the 15k, spread over the year paid monthly for simply visiting all your clients and keeping them happy and taking their usual orders, and its uncapped so the more your clients spend the bigger the monthly bonuses. . Vehicle+PERKS food away from home expense card $30 pub meals on the company expense card on the 8 days you are away from home each month, plus any customer costs meals, drinks etc.

Company Vehicle – You will Receive a company supplied, fully maintained company vehicle, this means that everything is paid for by the Company

- Wear and Tear
- E-tags
- Fuel
- Services, and if you want one of those little green tree air fresheners that hang off your rear vision mirror then….buy it yourself. What else do you want ! : )
