Job Title: Scrub Scout Nurse (Orthopaedics & General Surgery)

Recruiter: Carejobz Perioperative Recruitment Specialists The team at Carejobz Perioperative Specialists are recruiting for a hospital in Western Sydney. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with genuine orthopaedic scrub/scout experience.

About the Facility

This is a small private hospital with overnight beds. Orthopaedics and general surgery make up the surgical workload, alongside a wide-ranging range of other specialties.

The Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a nurse who can contribute confidently in the scrub/scout role and work across the hospital's two shift patterns, with starts at 6:30am and 11:00am.

In this role, you will:

- Scrub and scout for orthopaedic and general surgical lists
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments and equipment for each case
- Anticipate surgeon and procedural requirements during orthopaedic and general surgical cases
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary theatre team
- Support safe, efficient patient flow across a busy day-surgery environment
- Contribute across other surgical specialties where your verified experience supports it

What You Will Bring

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least one year of Scrub & Scout nursing experience
- Demonstrable orthopaedic scrub/scout experience, essential




- Current eligibility to work in Australia
- Availability to work the required shift patterns, including the later 11:00am start
- National Criminal Record Check
- Working with Children Check
- Strong clinical judgement, safe work practices and a cooperative approach
