Recruiter: Carejobz Perioperative Recruitment Specialists The team at Carejobz Perioperative Specialists are recruiting for a day surgery in Perth. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with Scrub/Scout experience, on a permanent part-time basis.
About the Facility
This established private day surgery provides a fast-paced perioperative environment across a range of specialties.
The Role
This is a permanent part-time Scrub/Scout nursing position with a minimum commitment of 60 hours per fortnight. The roster is Monday to Friday with no on-call shifts or public holidays and occasional optional weekend work.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based, safe and high-quality perioperative care.
- Prepare equipment and the clinical environment for safe and efficient surgery.
- Maintain clear team communication and monitor patient safety throughout the surgical journey.
- Provide patients with clear education and guidance for recovery at home.
- Support colleagues on shift and contribute to a safe, team-oriented team environment.
- Promote continuous improvement and clinical safety across the facility.
What You Will Bring
- Solid experience in Perioperative Scrub/Scout nursing within a surgical hospital setting.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
- Strong time management, organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors and colleagues.
- You must be eligible to work in Australia with full working rights.
Experience across the facility's specialties and experience in a fast-paced day or short-stay hospital environment will be highly regarded.
