About the Role

We’re seeking a senior family lawyer with 4+ years’ PAE to take ownership of a diverse mix of family law matters. This is a permanent role (part-time or full-time) reporting directly to the Principal. You’ll enjoy autonomy, support, and variety in a firm that values both people and performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Manage your own family law matters end-to-end
- Provide strategic legal advice and empathetic client support
- Represent clients in negotiation, mediation and court
- Draft legal correspondence, agreements, and court documents




- Contribute to business development, networking and digital content
- Collaborate with a small, capable team and referral partners

What You Bring

- 4+ years PAE with a strong family law focus
- Admitted to practice in Australia
- Strong communication and drafting skills
- Confidence to work independently and proactively
- Interest in alternative fee models (we don’t use time sheets!)
- Drive, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset

- Previous experience with alternative fee models
