People & Culture Partner (12-Month Contract)

We are seeking a People & Culture Partner to join a growing organisation and play a key role in supporting leaders, employees, and business performance. This is an opportunity to step into a broad generalist role where you can make a genuine impact across the full employee lifecycle.

About the Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will provide end-to-end HR support across business partnering, employee relations, culture, learning and development, recruitment, compliance, and HR operations.

This role is ideally suited to a proactive HR professional who enjoys working autonomously, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving people initiatives that support both employees and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

People & Culture

- Partner with leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee relations matters.
- Support employee engagement and culture initiatives.
- Drive learning and development activities and capability-building programs.
- Provide trusted HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.

HR Operations

- Manage onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, probation reviews, and employee lifecycle activities.




- Coordinate recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
- Maintain HR systems, records, reporting, and documentation.
- Support workforce planning and organisational initiatives.

Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain and update HR policies and documentation.
- Support remuneration reviews and benchmarking activities.
- Contribute to workplace health and safety initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience in a HR Business Partner, People & Culture Partner, or Senior HR Advisor position.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations.
- Experience supporting leaders on performance, conduct, and workplace matters.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial acumen.
- The ability to operate effectively in a standalone or small HR team environment.
