Customer Operations & Administration Coordinator

This is an exciting full-time (Monday to Friday) opportunity to join Nationwide Waste Solutions as a Customer Operations & Administration Coordinator, based in Croydon South. This varied, customer-focused role combines customer service, operational coordination, administration and sales support.

This is a busy, hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying organised, solving problems and taking ownership of customer requests from start to finish. You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to coordinate services, manage changes and resolve issues as they arise.

Waste industry experience isn’t essential. We’re much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude who can learn quickly, communicate well and take pride in providing great service.

What you’ll be doing

- Responding to customer phone and email enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

- Coordinating customer bookings through our national supplier network

- Coordinating site setups, deliveries, removals and service changes

- Managing customer cases and resolving issues





- Managing the Customer Service inbox to ensure enquiries are prioritised and actioned appropriately

- Providing administrative support across Accounts functions

- Working collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to keep services running smoothly

- Contributing to team and process improvements

About you

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, reliable and takes pride in seeing things through.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Relevant experience in customer service or administration within a busy environment

- Strong professional communication skills

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

- A practical, solutions-focused approach and a genuine can-do attitude

- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems

- Ability to work accurately to deadlines

- A team-focused approach and a willingness to jump in and help when needed
