DMK Engineering is a leading metal fabrication company delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a range of industries. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our team in Mount Gambier.

About the Role:

Based at our Mount Gambier facility, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and project teams by managing materials, equipment and inventory. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect and store materials, consumables and fabricated components
- Prepare materials, tools and equipment for site works
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
- Assist with daily freight, deliveries and pickups
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop and storage environment
- Monitor vehicle, plant and equipment maintenance schedules and arrange servicing to ensure assets remain safe, compliant and operational
- Conduct electrical test and tagging of tools and equipment in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
- Support equipment inspections and undertake basic maintenance tasks
- Work closely with our Purchasing Officer and workshop team to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or inventory role
- Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment (desirable)
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- A commitment to workplace safety and efficiency
- Experience with, or a willingness to learn, electrical test and tagging requirements
- A reasonable level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling

Licences and Qualifications: The following are advantageous but not essential:

- Forklift Licence
- White Card
- Truck Licence
