We are seeking a Teacher Aide to join our team at Aviation High School!

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.66 FTE), 50 hours per fortnight, until 09 July 2027, unless otherwise determined.

About The School Opened in 2007, Aviation High School was established to provide direct pathways for students seeking careers in the aviation and aerospace industries in Queensland. The school curriculum at Aviation High School has been influenced and supported by the aerospace and aviation industries and provided wonderful opportunities for students.

About The Role An prospect exists for a Teacher Aide to contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by organising and running the Accelerated Reader Program and assisting and supporting the Teacher Librarian with the day to day running of the library.

Responsibilities Include

- Working with the English HOD to organise and run the Accelerated Reader Program.
- Assisting the Teacher Librarian with the day to day running of the library.
- Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher.




- Working with small groups as well as individual students.
- Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
- Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
- Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families.
