Abergowrie State School is a small rural school situated approximately 40 kilometres west of Ingham, North Queensland. Our school was established in 1953 to provide quality schooling for the growing families of the areaￂ﾿s cane farming community. To reflect the spirit of the farming industry, our school motto is ￂ﾿Nihil Sine Laboreￂ﾿ which translates to ￂ﾿Nothing without hard workￂ﾿.
