About the role

The Senior Mental Health Clinician plays a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care and support to consumers, families and carers, while providing clinical leadership and expertise within the Far West MMHC multidisciplinary team. Working in partnership with the Service Manager, Clinical Lead, GPH colleagues and community stakeholders, this position contributes to a safe, collaborative and innovative service that delivers person-centred, recovery-oriented and evidence-informed care.

Duties

- Provide senior clinical leadership, support and expertise to the Far West MMHC multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain a clinical caseload and support the assessment and treatment of consumers with complex needs.
- Work with the Service Manager and Clinical Lead to support escalation of care, service quality, team development and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

1. Current full AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist, registered psychologist, mental health nurse or occupational therapist with relevant mental health accreditation, or accreditation with AASW as a mental health social worker.
2.



Demonstrated advanced mental health clinical experience, ideally at least three years post-graduate, delivering holistic and evidence-based therapeutic services.
3. Demonstrated leadership, supervision or mentoring experience within a multidisciplinary team, with excellent interpersonal, consultation, organisational and time management skills.
