About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join the Broughton Landscapes team on a casual basis. Based in Berry NSW 2535, this role offers flexible work opportunities for someone eager to develop their skills in the landscaping industry. As a Landscape Labourer, you will be at the heart of our operations, supporting our team in delivering exceptional landscaping projects. This is a hands-on position that requires physical capability, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and clearing landscaping sites, including removing debris and preparing ground areas
- Assisting with the installation of landscapes including planting, edging and hardscaping elements
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and hand tools safely and effectively
- Transporting materials and equipment to and from project sites
- Supporting the landscaping team in the execution of design plans and project specifications
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assisting with general site maintenance and tidying during and after projects
- Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule
What we're looking for
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials
- A willingness to learn and develop skills in landscaping practices
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly on a casual basis
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices on construction and landscaping sites
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work
- Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture or general construction is advantageous but not essential
