The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum General Medicine Registrar to support General Medicine services in the Hunter New England region.
This role suits a registrar with recent General Medicine experience who wants a strong hourly rate for steady ward-based work.
Weekday shifts are paid at $180 per hour, generally 08:00 to 16:00.

Clinical Environment
- Ward-based General Medicine cover, reviewing patients and supporting management plans
- Clinical documentation, handovers and escalation of care when required
- Supportive team environment with senior escalation pathways available
- Regional hospital setting within the Hunter New England region

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Recent General Medicine registrar-level experience
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
