We're a busy Auto Electrical workshop based in Wallsend looking for a fully qualified Auto Electrician or a 4th year apprentice to join our team. Our work is mainly in-shop auto electrical repairs and fit-outs, with on-site service callouts. No two days are the same, and the work is diverse and interesting.
Key responsibilities
- General auto electrical fit-ups (lights, alternators, starters, radios, etc.)
- Diagnosing and repairing contemporary vehicle systems including EFI, ignition, ABS, cruise control, airbags, automatic transmissions and A/C
- Fault finding and repairs to wiring, fuses, switches and ignition systems
- Using diagnostic tools to get the job done right
- Fleet servicing and repairs
- Dual battery systems
About you
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- A/C licence preferred but not essential
- Pride in your workmanship
- A "do it right the first time" attitude
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Be reliable, punctual, and presentable
