The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Paediatrics Registrar to support paediatric services in the Hunter New England region of NSW.
This role is ideal for a registrar wanting a clear hourly rate and a defined night block, so you know what the placement is worth before you start.
Night shifts generally run 22:00 to 08:30 in a seven-shift block, paid at $180 per hour. The role covers overnight paediatric coverage, with escalation pathways available.

Clinical Environment
• Paediatrics Registrar locum role in a hospital setting
• Night shifts, generally 22:00 to 08:30
• Review and management of paediatric patients
• Ward-based care and acute presentations
• Clinical documentation, handover and appropriate escalation
• Collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Supportive clinical environment with escalation pathways available

Requirements
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Recent Paediatrics registrar-level experience
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
• Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
