The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum General Medicine SRMO (PGY3+) to provide ward-based support across general medical units in the Hunter New England region.
This role suits a doctor who wants a strong hourly rate for structured daytime work with no night shifts.
Shifts are paid at $160 per hour on a weekday roster.

Clinical Environment
- Join a collaborative general medicine team with explicit roles and senior support
- Manage a mix of acute and chronic medical inpatients
- Take part in ward rounds, discharge summaries, consults and team handovers
- Use modern EMR systems and structured escalation protocols

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- PGY3+ with recent general medicine experience
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
