Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Banking & Financial Services
Location: Sydney, NSW

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join a leading global financial services organisation in Sydney.

This role will suit an analytical finance professional with experience preparing regulatory returns, financial reports and reconciliations within banking, custody, fund administration or another regulated financial services workplace.
Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review regulatory reporting submissions, including APRA, ABS and other applicable regulatory returns.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial and statutory reporting requirements.
- Perform financial reconciliations, variance analysis and validation of reporting data.
- Investigate discrepancies across general ledgers, accounting systems and regulatory reporting outputs.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Collaborate with finance, fund accounting, operations and compliance teams.
- Support audits,



reporting enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting or fund accounting within financial services.
- Knowledge of Australian regulatory reporting requirements, ideally including APRA and ABS.
- Experience preparing regulatory returns, financial reports and reconciliations.
- Strong accounting knowledge and financial data analysis skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage reporting deadlines.
- Relevant Accounting, Finance or Commerce qualification; CA/CPA desirable.

Highly Desirable: Experience within custody, fund administration, investment management, superannuation or banking regulatory reporting.
