CNC, Waterjet & Robotic Welding Trainee Operators

Specialised Solutions is seeking motivated and reliable Trainee Operators to join our manufacturing team at Tonsley, Adelaide.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in CNC machinery, waterjet cutting, robotic welding and advanced manufacturing technologies.

This is a practical, hands-on role in a busy industrial workshop, combining modern automated machinery with metalworking, material handling and general workshop duties.

While previous experience is highly desirable, training will be provided to suitable candidates.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced workshop team, your responsibilities will include:

- Learning to operate CNC machinery, waterjet cutting and robotic welding equipment.

- Assisting with machine setup, programming and automated production processes.

- Preparing, cutting, welding and processing steel and other materials.

- Reading engineering drawings and following job instructions.

- Conducting quality checks and assisting with machine maintenance.

- Undertaking manual handling, material preparation and general workshop duties.

- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop.

- Supporting the production team to meet quality and delivery targets.

About You

Previous experience working in an industrial workshop environment and operating CNC machinery is highly desirable. Experience with waterjet cutting, robotic welding or other automated manufacturing equipment will also be highly regarded.
