You are an experienced operational leader with strong business acumen, a track record of delivering results and the confidence to lead complex, geographically dispersed operations.
You are equally comfortable analysing financial performance, challenging operational inefficiencies, developing your leadership team and making practical decisions in the field.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience leading multi-site operations or a significant business portfolio, ideally within waste management, industrial services, transport, logistics or a comparable industry.
- Demonstrated P&L; ownership, financial management capability and a track record of improving profitability and operational performance.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to assess business opportunities, manage contract performance and make sound financial decisions.
- Experience leading and developing managers, setting clear expectations and driving accountability for results.
- A practical, hands-on leadership style, with the ability to identify operational issues, challenge existing practices and implement sustainable solutions.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the resilience to operate effectively in challenging regional environments.
- The ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational execution and deliver outcomes through others.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout regional Western Australia.
A tertiary qualification in business, operations management or a related discipline is desirable, although substantial relevant leadership and commercial experience will be equally valued.
