Inter Industrial Services is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our client based in Thomastown. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organised and hands-on individual who enjoys leading a small team, maintaining efficient warehouse operations and taking ownership of day-to-day activities.

Leading a team of four, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of stock, incoming deliveries and outgoing orders. This is a hands-on leadership position, with approximately 50–60% of your time spent operating a forklift and actively working on the warehouse floor.

About the Role

Reporting to management, you will be the go-to person for all warehouse-related queries, ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently and to schedule.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supervising, supporting and coordinating a team of four warehouse staff.

- Operating a forklift for approximately 50–60% of your working day.

- Coordinating container arrivals and organising the unloading of containers.

- Overseeing all inwards goods, including checking and receipting incoming stock.

- Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records.

- Coordinating warehouse activities to ensure orders and deliveries are completed on time.

- Liaising with other departments to communicate job requirements, delivery schedules and priorities.

- Acting as the main point of contact for management on all warehousing matters.

- Maintaining a well-organised,



clean and safe warehouse environment.

- Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency and productivity.

About You To be successful in this role, you will be a practical and proactive warehouse professional who can lead by example while keeping daily operations organised and on track.

You will ideally have

- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior warehouse role.

- A current forklift licence and confidence operating a forklift regularly.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Clear communication skills and the confidence to liaise with management and other departments.

- Experience with inwards goods, stock control and container unloading.

- The ability to lead a small team while remaining hands-on with daily tasks.

- A reliable, solutions-focused attitude and a strong sense of accountability.

- Good attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

- Salary of 85,000- $90,000 per annum + overtime + superannuation
