About the role

This full-time Warehousing Role offers an exciting chance to join the team at GP HVAC Group in Somerton, Victoria. As a key member of our warehousing and distribution operations, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our inventory, storage, customer fulfilment, and light manufacturing activities.

What you'll be doing

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods

- Maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing effective stock control measures

- Operating various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order picking systems

- Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers

- Performing light sheet metal assembly for HVAC products

- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a secure work environment

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics role, preferably within the HVAC, transport, or distribution industry





- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks

- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records and quality workmanship
- A team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A valid forklift licence and a commitment to workplace health and safety
