As TJX Australia continues to grow, we are thrilled to welcome a dedicatedLoss Prevention Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will oversee our NSW North district stores - Glendale, Kotara, Tuggerah, Green Hills, Hornby, Castle Hill & North Rocks .

With over 90 stores and a strong presence across the country, we are seeking a motivated professional ready to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the safety and security of our stores, customers, and associates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct compliance audits and security reviews to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Implement action plans and monitor stock processes to reduce shrinkage and improve compliance.
- Analyze business reports and stock data to detect irregularities and prevent losses.
- Lead investigations into internal and external theft or policy violations, collaborating with law enforcement and security partners.
- Support new store openings and deliver ongoing Loss Prevention training to store teams.

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in Loss Prevention, Investigations, or Auditing within a multi-site retail environment.
- Strong understanding of retail stock management, POS systems, and business intelligence tools.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills and solid financial acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a willingness to travel interstate as needed.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, build relationships, and drive results.

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

This role will report to the Loss Prevention Manager and is responsible for maintaining the security of the stores within their district. Based at the TK MAXX store, this role will perform their duties at the STATE stores as required. The main objectives of the Loss Prevention Associate are to act as a visual deterrent to criminal activity, respond to incidents, promote compliance, and support the Loss Prevention strategy.

POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deter theft and fraud by completing high profiling activities and offering customer service
- Ensure all physical security systems are operational and functioning correctly (CCTV, alarms, monitors, tethers, security tags, detachers, locks, safes, punch code locks and keys)
- Manage customer access to tethered items and products in cabinets
- Manage the alarm codes for the store
- Respond to EAS gate activations
- Respond to incidents and gather preliminary evidence (Incident details, CCTV, property details etc)
- Refer serious incidents to the Loss Prevention Manager
- Identify and rectify any non-compliance with the merchandise protections guide
- Review EAS to CCTV reporting and notify the Loss Prevention Manager of known thefts
- Conduct random SOH checks to test inventory accuracy
- Conduct random bag checks on customers and Associates
- Conduct random delivery checks to test inventory accuracy
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote compliance with all policies and procedures
- Support stores with the cash collection and change process
- Work with Store Management to administer the UDA process

IDEAL EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES

- A current Security Industry Employee Licence
- A current driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle
- At least 3 years Loss Prevention experience
- Flexible with local travel and working hours
- Strong and effective conflict resolution skills
- Ability to influence others and build relationships
