The Locker Room is a multi-level pub and events venue in the heart of Sydney Olympic Park. Featuring bistro dining, multiple bars, a rooftop terrace and dedicated function spaces, the venue welcomes diners, sports fans, concertgoers and private event guests.

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the team and oversee the venue’s operational and financial performance. This position suits a confident hospitality qualified who can manage everyday trading while preparing the business for busy sporting fixtures, concerts and major events.

Key duties

- Plan and oversee daily operations across the bars, bistro, gaming and function areas.
- Coordinate staffing, stock and service arrangements around the precinct’s sporting and entertainment calendar.
- Recruit, train, roster and supervise staff, providing clear direction and ongoing performance feedback.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, review sales performance and control labour, purchasing and operating costs.
- Manage supplier relationships, purchasing, stocktakes and inventory controls.
- Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliations and financial reporting to senior management.
- Coordinate private functions and group bookings, ensuring kitchen, bar and service teams understand event requirements.
- Maintain customer service standards,



respond to feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
- Oversee venue security, patron management and incident reporting in collaboration with staff and security personnel.
- Ensure adherence to liquor licensing, responsible service of alcohol, responsible gambling, food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and functionality of the premises, arranging maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Implement promotions and operational improvements to increase patronage, revenue and customer satisfaction.

About you

- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Demonstrated management experience in a pub or comparable licensed hospitality venue.
- Experience coordinating busy bar, bistro, gaming and function operations.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Sound knowledge of budgeting, rostering, stock control and financial reporting.
- Ability to make effective decisions during busy service periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and major event days

Permanent Full Time role with $82000 - $90000 (plus super)
