As a Parts Interpreter, you will help our customers and workshop team identify and source the correct automotive parts and accessories. You'll provide knowledgeable, efficient service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Parts Department.

Key responsibilities

- Identifying and interpreting parts using electronic catalogues and dealership systems
- Responding to customer and workshop enquiries in person, by phone and online
- Preparing quotes, processing orders and issuing parts
- Ordering parts and following up on backorders
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stockMaintaining accurate stock records and documentation
- Assisting with stocktakes and general warehouse duties
- Building positive relationships with customers and internal dealership teams
- Supporting the Parts Manager and wider dealership team as required

About you

- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, preferably within an automotive dealership
- Sound automotive parts and mechanical knowledge




- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confidence using computer-based parts catalogues and inventory systems
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
