About The Role

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will liaise closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, specialists and their rooms to support the smooth operation of hospital services and uphold a consistently high standard of patient-centred care.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Managing patient bookings, pre-admission processes and appointment coordination, including liaison with specialists’ rooms.
- Admitting patients to the hospital and completing all required admission documentation accurately and on time.
- Performing private health fund eligibility checks, confirming patient and funding details, and supporting informed financial consent for insured, self-funded, WorkCover and third-party patients.

- Providing front desk reception and maintaining the hospital main switchboard, responding to enquiries in person and over the phone.
- Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced admissions environment while maintaining accuracy in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Identifying and escalating issues or discrepancies promptly, and contributing to a positive, professional and team-focused work environment.
