Monash University invites Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants to apply for a fully funded PhD scholarship in Indigenous energy research. Commencing in 2026, a 3.5-year appointment provides a tax-exempt stipend of $53,608 per annum, with relocation up to $1,000 and additional research support.

The scholarship is overseen by the Monash Energy Institute and supported by three faculties. Eligible applicants pursue research benefiting First Nations’ energy interests while located at
