SkinTech Lab is an exciting new Australian manufacturing business with ambitious plans for growth. We partner with established and emerging brands to develop, formulate and manufacture high-performance products across Skincare and Personal Care, Haircare, Baby and Mum, Petcare and Homecare.

To help us achieve our ambitions, We're seeking an experienced, hands-on People, Culture & Safety Business Partner to establish and embed the HR, people and workplace safety foundations of our growing manufacturing operation.

This is not a traditional HR maintenance role. We're looking for someone who has built HR and WHS frameworks from the ground up and understands the operational realities of manufacturing.

The Prospect

Working closely with our leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a compliant, safe, accountable and high-performing workplace.

Your key responsibilities will include:

People & Culture

Establishing HR policies, procedures, employment frameworks and systems from inception.

Developing recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation and offboarding processes.





Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, modern awards and employment obligations.

Managing employee relations, performance management and workplace matters.

Supporting workforce planning, organisational development and leadership capability.

Building a positive, engaged and accountable workplace culture.

Workplace Health & Safety

Establishing and embedding practical WHS policies, procedures and management systems appropriate for a manufacturing environment.

Working with operational leaders to identify workplace hazards, assess risks and implement appropriate controls.

Developing safety inductions, training frameworks and compliance processes.

Supporting incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and return-to-work processes.

Establishing WHS reporting, monitoring and continuous improvement practices.

Promoting a proactive safety culture across production, warehouse and office environments.

Partnering with management to ensure compliance with relevant Victorian workplace health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.

About You

We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded HR professional who is equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up their sleeves to implement it.

Proven experience establishing HR functions, processes and frameworks within a start-up, greenfield or rapidly scaling business.
