This is a hands-on, generalist HR position combining strategic advice with practical people management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- People and culture: Strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing and workplace culture.
- Employment relations: Provide expert advice on Australian employment legislation, compliance and employee matters.
- Performance and development: Establish effective performance management and career development processes.
- Recruitment: Manage recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.

- Workplace health and safety: Coordinate WHS requirements, including psychosocial risks.
- Strategic advice: Support the CEO with workforce planning and organisational development.

You'll bring:

- A relevant degree in HR, Employment Relations or a related discipline.
- At least five years of broad HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation,

the National Employment Standards and modern awards.
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, recruitment and HR policy development.
- Excellent judgement, discretion and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and provide sound advice to senior leadership.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector or developing HR systems within a growing organisation will be highly regarded.

Why join Road Sense?

- Meaningful work: Contribute to an organisation dedicated to improving road safety across Australia.
- Genuine ownership: Lead our people function and influence how the organisation develops.
- Direct CEO access: Play an important role in organisational decisions and improvements.
- Flexible working: Work remotely from anywhere in Australia, three days per week.
