About the Role

We are looking for a capable and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a hands-on, varied role working across a broad range of agricultural, transport and earthmoving equipment.

This is not a role where you'll be doing the same job every day. One day you may be servicing a truck or trailer, the next diagnosing a fault on a cotton picker, excavator or loader.

The position would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping machinery operating properly, and is comfortable working independently when required.

You'll be working closely with our operators and management team to keep our fleet reliable, well maintained and ready for seasonal operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will include:

- Servicing and preventative maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and fault finding
- Hydraulic and electrical diagnostics




- Breakdown repairs
- Inspecting machinery and identifying issues before they become major failures
- Preparing equipment for seasonal operations
- General workshop repairs and maintenance
- Working with operators to diagnose and resolve machinery issues
- Helping maintain a reliable and well-presented fleet

The Machinery You’ll Work On

Our fleet is diverse and includes:

- Light vehicles and service vehicles
- Trucks and trailers
- Cotton pickers and cotton strippers
- Excavators
- Loaders
- Agricultural machinery and associated equipment

For someone who enjoys working on different machinery and solving problems, there is plenty of variety in this role.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is a qualified Diesel Mechanic or has strong relevant mechanical experience
- Has experience with agricultural, heavy transport or earthmoving machinery
- Is confident with mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Has a good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Can work independently and use initiative
- Works well as part of a small team
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Is reliable, practical and safety focused
- Holds a current driver's licence

Experience with agricultural machinery is highly regarded, however we are also interested in hearing from mechanics with strong heavy vehicle, transport or earthmoving backgrounds.
