Experienced Support Worker needed 1–2 days per week in Maitland to provide person-centred support to an individual with complex mental health needs. Work may expand to Raymond Terrace and Newcastle. Pay is under the SCHADS Award.

A Positive Approach Support Services is looking for an experienced and skilled Support Worker to join their team in the Maitland area, initially 1–2 days per week with potential to increase across Raymond Terrace, Maitland, and Newcastle. The role involves providing person-centred support to an individual with complex mental health needs. Essential requirements: minimum Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, or equivalent; strong understanding of mental health, recovery-oriented practice, trauma-informed care,



and skilled boundaries; NDIS Worker Screening Check; completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module; Working with Children's Check; own phone; reliable car with current registration and comprehensive car insurance. Desirable: First Aid Certificate. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and confident managing complex presentations including substance addiction.
