Tasty One is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Finance team. Working closely with the Finance team and stakeholders across the business, you will take ownership of key accounting and reporting activities, support commercial decision-making and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting.

Key responsibilities

Managing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close processes.

Overseeing accounts receivable activities, including collections, reconciliations and supporting the Accounts Receivable Officer.

Partnering with Sales to support pricing, tenders and commercial reporting.

Monitoring cash flow and providing financial insights to support business planning.

Assisting with budget preparation, forecasting and performance monitoring.

Preparing and coordinating direct and indirect tax compliance requirements, including BAS.

Maintaining compliance with accounting standards, taxation obligations and internal controls.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, processes and reporting tools.

Supporting year-end audit activities and liaising with external auditors.

Contributing to Finance projects and broader business improvement initiatives.

About you

At least four years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

A relevant accounting degree,



with CA or CPA qualification or currently working towards completion.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and relevant legislation.

Experience with accounting software such as MYOB and/or Ostendo.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with Microsoft 365.

An interest in using Power BI, AI and data tools to improve reporting and business efficiency.

Experience across other finance functions, such as cost accounting, payroll, accounts receivable or accounts payable, will be highly regarded.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.

A positive, team-oriented approach, sound judgement and a continuous improvement mindset.
