About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one of our SIL homes in Box Hill, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment and promoting positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing leadership, guidance and ongoing support to Disability Support Workers.
- Coordinating staff and participant rosters to ensure consistent, quality care.
- Overseeing daily house operations, maintenance, shopping and household budgets.
- Ensuring participant documentation, progress notes and incident reports are accurate and completed on time.
- Supporting participants with appointments, individual goals and overall wellbeing.
- Maintaining positive relationships with participants, families, representatives and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and safety requirements.
- Coordinating emergency preparedness activities, including safety checks and evacuation drills.
- Promoting participant choice, independence and community participation.

About You

- A professional, compassionate and person-centred approach.

A current, valid Australian driver's licence, NDIS VIC Worker Screening, CPR & First Aid Certificates. and Working With Children’s Check

Highly regarded:

- Previous experience working in disability support, particularly Supported Independent Living.
- Experience in a supervisory, team leader or house coordinator position.
- A relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services, Psychology or a related field.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the disability sector, including NDIS service delivery.
