Housekeeping Room Attendant – Casual Position

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team on a casual basis. As a Room Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our guest suites are clean, comfortable, and presented to the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, understands the importance of attention to detail and enjoys contributing to a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

Clean and service guest suites to the hotel's required standards, including making beds and changing linen.

Clean bathrooms and replenish towels, toiletries, and guest amenities.

Vacuum, dust and wipe surfaces to ensure suites are clean, presentable, and ready for arriving guests.

Maintain cleanliness in designated public areas when required.

Follow established housekeeping procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Use cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.

Respect guest privacy and adhere to room-entry procedures.

Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost property promptly.

Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to complete allocated rooms within required timeframes.

Maintain consistent standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail.
