The Opportunity

Our client is a private equity backed global software company on a rapid growth trajectory. Its scalable SaaS platform is trusted by enterprises and governments worldwide, underpinned by deep technical expertise and a values driven culture of integrity, determination, and respect. This Accountant role is a key appointment supporting the company’s strategic growth agenda.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Reporting, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Assist with financial reporting preparation and reporting requirements.
- Prepare monthly journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules by ensuring appropriate application of accounting standards.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of additions, disposals,



transfers, and depreciation
- Support external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- Support BAS/GST, sales tax, and other indirect tax returns
- Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and internal controls
- Support system enhancements or migrations that impact reporting and compliance

The Expertise

- You are CA or CPA qualified with 3-5 years’ experience – ideally in a Business Services team at a Mid Tier firm. Alternatively, you may be already working in an industry financial accounting role at a growing business looking for the logical next step.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
