Recruitflex is partnering with an established Australian manufacturing business looking for an experienced Welder / Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication, varied work and seeing a finished product come together from start to finish. you'll be working in a busy, well-equipped manufacturing environment alongside an experienced team that values quality, reliability and good workmanship .

What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day work will include:
- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Working with sheet metal and fabricated components
- Cutting, grinding, drilling and finishing
- Assembling metal products and components
- Reading drawings, measurements and specifications
- Using hand and power tools
- Operating fabrication equipment
- Checking completed work for quality and accuracy
- Working with the production team to meet deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and organised workspace
What we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous welding, fabrication or sheet metal experience
- Strong hands-on skills
- Confidence using fabrication tools and equipment
- Ability to read drawings and measurements
- Good attention to detail
- A strong focus on safety
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Formal trade qualifications are highly regarded, but solid practical experience is just as important .
