We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant – Superannuation to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an accountant looking to further develop their expertise in the preparation and administration of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) within a professional and supportive workplace.

Key responsibilities

- Preparation of SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
- Preparation of SMSF workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Liaising with auditors and responding to audit queries.
- Assisting with SMSF compliance requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Processing pension commencements, rollovers and other fund transactions.
- Liaising with the ATO, clients and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
- Assisting senior team members with superannuation and compliance matters.
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

About you

- 2-4 years' experience in public practice accounting.
- Experience preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns.




- Relevant accounting qualification and/or currently undertaking CA or CPA studies.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively within a team.
- A proactive attitude and genuine desire to build a career in superannuation.
