About Oz Hair & Beauty

Oz Hair & Beauty is a family-owned Australian hair and beauty retailer with stores nationally and a growing online presence. We’re known for great brands, great prices and a team that genuinely loves the category.

About the role

We’re looking for a Social Content Creator to be the engine behind our organic social channels. This is a hands‑on creative role. You’ll be the one with the phone in hand: filming, editing, posting and responding, every day.

Reporting to our Content & Social Lead, you’ll own the day‑to‑day running of our TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and you’ll have the freedom to spot a trend in the morning and have it live by the afternoon.

What you’ll do

Create content end to end: ideate, organise shoots, film, edit and schedule

Spot trends and turn them around the same day, with autonomy to publish within our brand guidelines

Run Oz Squad, our micro‑creator program: recruit creators,

brief them and edit their user‑generated content

Manage our community: comments, direct messages and daily engagement

Schedule and publish across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and keep the content calendar on track

Drive growth in views, watch time, saves and shares

What you’ll bring

2 to 4 years’ experience creating social content, ideally in beauty, fashion or retail

Proven ability to shoot and edit independently: phone‑first, fluent in CapCut, built for Reels and TikTok

A strong instinct for hooks, trends and what keeps people watching

You’re always online and you move rapid, but you’re organised enough to keep a calendar running

The people skills to build good relationships with creators

A portfolio of content you personally shot and edited, with the results to back it up
