Job Description

A Midwifery Nurse provides comprehensive care to women during pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and the postpartum period, as well as care for newborns.

Responsibilities

- Monitoring maternal and fetal health
- Assisting with normal deliveries
- Providing prenatal and postnatal care, educating mothers on breastfeeding and newborn care, administering prescribed medications, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a safe and supportive birthing environment.

About the Role

- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers.
- Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, and labor progress.
- Assist in normal vaginal deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to mothers and their families.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, family planning, and maternal health.
- Identify and report pregnancy or childbirth complications and assist in emergency management.

- Rates: Up to $68.49 AM rate
- Incentive: $150/week (up to $1800 completion bonus for 12-weeks)

What We're Looking For:

- Relevant clinical experience
- AHPRA registration
- 2+ years Midwifery experience
