The Integrated Health unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Project Support Officer (GPLO) to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity
- Maintain effective working relationships between the General Practice Liaison Unit, Mackay HHS, Northern Queensland Primary Health Network, Streamliners and other key stakeholders.
- High level administration skills, including Microsoft word and excel skills.
- Communicates effectively to stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of scope, content and deadlines are maintained.
- Assist and supports the General Practice Liaison Unit with administration support.
- Assists with key stakeholder engagement.
- Assist with IT integration and data monitoring for all Integrated Health projects.
- Attend meetings and education events relevant to Integrated Health.
- Provide administrative support to the General Practice Liaison Officer with Key Performance Indicator delivery and maintenance of databases relevant to position.

The General Practice Liaison Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital sits under the Chief Medical Officer. The GPLU works across the Mackay HHS to improve the integration between the hospital and primary health care setting, ensuring care is integrated across the entire patient journey.
