1st, 2nd year Plumbing Apprentice & registered plumber

Duggan Plumbing & Drainage is seeking enthusiastic and skilled 1st, 2nd year Plumbing Apprentices and Registered plumbers to join our growing team in Truganina, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to develop your plumbing career with a well-established and respected company. Whether you're early in your apprenticeship journey or a registered professional, you'll work on diverse plumbing projects, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment. This role is integral to delivering high-quality plumbing services to our valued clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings

Perform plumbing work in accordance with Australian plumbing codes and regulations

Work alongside experienced plumbers to complete residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing projects

Conduct diagnostic work to identify plumbing issues and develop appropriate solutions

Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure work sites are kept clean and safe

Document work completed and maintain accurate records of jobs undertaken

Communicate effectively with clients regarding work scope and project timelines

Adhere to health and safety standards and protocols on all job sites

Continually develop technical skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and mentorship

What we're looking for

Current enrolment in a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program (1st or 2nd year) or current plumbing registration

Sound understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces

Current driver's license





Commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with regulations

Willingness to learn and develop skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeople

Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work

Previous experience in plumbing or related trades is advantageous

First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it is preferred

Registered plumber to be able to run a full time van in maintenance/CO testing
