You’ll help modernise a nationally significant environmental modelling platform, moving it from legacy technologies to a cloud-native architecture on Microsoft Azure.What you’ll doDesign, build and maintain cloud-native .NET applications and REST APIs on Azure, using App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Data Lake and API ManagementDevelop web applications with Angular and work across the full stackAnalyse legacy .NET, C++, Python and SQL code to understand business rules and calculation logicWork with SQL Server and Azure SQL, including query optimisation and performance tuningCollaborate with scientists,



architects and analysts to deliver accurate, reproducible resultsContribute to CI/CD, automated testing and security, and support existing applicationsWhat you’ll bringExtensive experience with C#, .NET or .NET Framework, and Microsoft AzureStrong software engineering practices, including REST APIs, CI/CD, automated testing, secure development and observabilityExperience with Angular or a similar framework such as React or VueStrong SQL Server or Azure SQL skills for data-intensive applicationsThe ability to analyse unfamiliar or legacy codebasesExperience with C++, geospatial systems, high-performance computing, Databricks, or environmental or carbon accounting (desirable)The ability to obtain a Baseline security clearanceHow to apply: Click “Apply” and submit your resume.
