About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with strong expertise in Oracle and enterprise applications to lead application architecture and solution design. The successful candidate will assess existing application environments, understand business and technical requirements, and design scalable, secure and integrated solutions aligned with organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and architecture of Oracle-based and other enterprise applications.
- Analyse existing application environments, business functions, data flows and system integrations.
- Develop application architecture designs, technical specifications and integration strategies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance application functionality, performance, scalability and maintainability.
- Define how applications interact with databases, APIs,



middleware and other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams and other architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure application designs align with enterprise architecture, security standards and technology best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout solution development and implementation.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Proven experience as an Application Architect, Solution Architect or in a similar architecture role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle applications and related enterprise application technologies.
- Experience designing application architectures, functions and integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of application environments, data architecture, data flows and system dependencies.
- Experience with APIs, web services, middleware and application integration patterns.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and design documentation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with Oracle Cloud applications or Oracle Fusion Applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and enterprise integration technologies.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise application transformation or modernisation projects.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian citizens. A Baseline security clearance is desirable.
