About The Role

Cater Care is seeking trade-qualified, experienced FIFO Chefs to join our remote site team at Hera. You will be responsible for preparing high-volume, nutritious meal services—including hot breakfasts, dinners, and crib lunches—for remote village residents who rely on us for a comfortable "home away from home."

Roster & Compensation

- Roster: 14 Days On / 7 Days Off (10–12 hour shifts; day/night/split shifts as required)
- Location: FIFO directly from Sydney
- Perks: 100% covered flights, site accommodation, meals, and uniforms while on shift

What You'll Do

- Prepare high-volume breakfast, dinner, and crib options for site residents
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, HACCP regulations, and site hygiene standards
- Manage coolroom rotations, stock levels, and active waste minimization
- Cater expertly to specialized diets, allergies, and menu preferences




- Work alongside utilities and kitchen hand staff to maintain efficient workflow

What We’re Looking For

- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or TRA-recognized equivalent)
- Proven experience in high-volume catering, remote site operations, or buffet dining
- Comprehensive understanding of HACCP, food safety regulations, and allergen handling
- Current valid Manual Driver’s License
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
