Victorian Society for Computers u0026 the Law (VSCL)
Melbourne
The Victorian Society for Computers & the Law, Inc. (VSCL) is a not-for-profit organisation for lawyers and others within the legal ecosystem interested in law and technology. At the upcoming AGM on 10 Nov 2026, a new committee/board will be elected to continue the VSCL's proud 30+ year legacy.
There's never been a more exciting time to get involved given the current overwhelming public and skilled interest in artificial intelligence, privacy and related law reform.
Being a committee/board member is a fantastic way to raise your profile, advance your career and build networks with key people in the local legal and technology scene. The VSCL is well funded and positioned to deliver a series of high quality, unique events for our members in the coming year.
The following positions are open for nomination:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Ordinary members of the Board
Note that all of these are executive roles - you will be expected to actively organise events and engage with our membership base. We do not have non-executive roles.
If you are interested, please contact us (
[email protected]) to discuss potential roles and the nomination process. Note: We don't have a physical office but would usually expect committee/board members to be based in Melbourne.
