About the project

We’re pursuing an exciting marine infrastructure project in Geraldton, Western Australia, creating an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of complex infrastructure works in a unique coastal environment.

This project represents an opportunity to help deliver critical infrastructure alongside an experienced team, with a focus on secure, efficient and high-quality construction outcomes.

About the role

As Construction Manager, you will lead and coordinate construction activities across the project, taking ownership of site delivery to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme, budget, quality and contractual requirements.

Working closely with the Project Manager, engineering and site teams, subcontractors and client representatives, you will play a key role in driving construction performance, building strong working relationships and fostering a proactive safety culture. This is an opportunity for an experienced construction leader to make a tangible contribution to a complex infrastructure project.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate construction activities to achieve programme, budget, safety, environmental and quality objectives.
- Plan and manage site resources, including labour, plant, equipment, materials and subcontractors, to maximise productivity.
- Drive a strong safety and environmental culture, ensuring site activities comply with relevant legislation, project requirements and company standards.
- Monitor construction progress, costs and performance, identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep works on track.
- Build effective relationships with the client, subcontractors and project teams to support collaboration, resolve issues and achieve successful delivery.

What will you bring?





- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
- At least eight years of construction or engineering experience, including a minimum of two years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead diverse site teams and subcontractors, with a strong focus on safety, quality, programme and cost control.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and drive construction outcomes.
